While learning from home, please make sure you are practicing and doing the assignments placed on Google Classroom. Everyone has received an invite and assignments are posted and ready. The codes are as follows:

7th and 8th Grade March 8 or 9:
LGPE: This is Large Group Performance Evaluation where we perform two pieces of music that will be evaluated and judged by three qualified judges. They will grade our performance. This performance grade is as important to our school as the GA Milestones test. Congratulations to the seventh and eighth grade bands on earning straight superior ratings. This is the highest rating a band can earn.
6th grade Spring Concert April 26 (Saturday)
We have been invited to play at Lady A. Concert time will be 7:00 and location is Lady A Stage at Evans Towne Center. Attire is concert black. Arrival time is between 6:30-6:35. This is a graded performance. 7016 Evans Town Center Blvd, Evans, GA 30809 A hand out will be given to each student prior to the concert with these reminders.
7th/8th Grade Spring Concert May 6
Concert time is 6:00 in CMS Gym. Arrival time is between 5:30-5:40. This is a graded performance. Theme of concert is Fright Night! We will perform spooky concert music including Little Shop of Horrors, Count Rockula, Fright Night, The Tell-Tale Heart and more! You won't want to miss it! Plan to dress up in a costume of your choice but make sure you can still properly perform your music.
All grades should be seated ten minutes before performance begins. Dress is as follows:
6th grade: Concert Black- everything is black, including belts and socks. Formal dress, not casual
7th grade: Band shirts, black dress pants, black belt, shirt tucked in, black socks black shoes. NO athletic attire
8th grade: White collared shirt, black pants, shirt tucked in, black shoes, black socks and school-issued tie/cummerbund set.
All students should be practicing three hours a week. Practice makes progress!
