Pencils (Please be sure to have plenty of extras in your bookbag)
Calculator (any kind will work; if you have one for math, you can use it for science as well)
Notebook Paper

Tab Dividers (I recommend 10 because there are 10 units)

Grade Weights:
Semester Average = 80%
The Semester Average is made up of the following:
- Assessments (unit tests/major projects) = 55%
- Assignments (classwork, homework, labs, etc.) = 40%
- Benchmark Exams = 5%
Semester Exam = 20%
Students will have an opportunity to retest each unit test once. Students cannot earn higher than a 90% on a retest.
There is no retest on benchmark and semester exams.
