Required Classroom Supplies:
*3-Ring Binder- must be at least 1"
*Tab Dividers (Please see your syllabus for number of tab dividers required.)
2-3 Glue sticks
Color Pencils
Pens (Blue or Black ink only)
Pencils (Please be sure to have plenty of extras in your bookbag)
Calculator (any kind will work; if you have one for math, you can use it for science as well)
Paper
* These items are a must for this class. Students will be given a lot of papers to keep up with that will help serve as study guides for tests, benchmarks, and end of course testing.
Graded Weights:
Summative Assessments- 55% (Tests, Projects)
Given to evaluate student proficiency of content taught/ One opportunity to retest per Assessment
Benchmarks- 5%
Formative Assessments- 40% (Classwork, Quizzes)
Given to evaluate student progress on content taught/ No retests or 2nd tries.
