Due:
So we have returned from Spring Break! Tell about what you did over the break and if you are ready to be back to LFH!
Due:
Yesterday, Georgia Governor Kemp declared that students would not return to their schools for the remainder of the school year. Columbia County Schools, along with many other school districts, are using Learn From Home to finish the 4th nine weeks.
My question is this: how will these school closures impact our school and students NEXT year? How will school be different when (if?) we return to CMS in August?
Write as much as you want and reply to others if you'd like.

I've been doing some reading and research about our current online school situation.
For some students, completing lessons and modules in CodeHS is just right, for others working on their own assignments is just right. Some like to work on the computer and some students like to get creative. There are some of you who want to learn the foundations, there are some who want to become experts.
No matter who you are, I care about your and I want to make your LFH experience as positive and beneficial as possible.
Read over and consider each answer choice, then please think carefully before responding.

Due:
Learn to recognize situations where a growth mindset would help another student.
1. Read through the stories quickly. Then choose three (3) to respond to. You can also roll a pair of dice to choose randomly.
2. Based on what you've learned about the growth mindset, what advice can you give each person? What would you recommend for them to do next?
3. Type your answer directly into the box. Please use a different font or color so your answers stand out. Your answer should include thought and use details from the story.
#11 has been done for you.

Sound off below with any questions or comments about LFH (learn from home). How are things going for you?
Did you know I've received two college degrees and a teaching endorsement entirely online? Still, with LFH, we are all in new and uncharted territory, so we all have something to learn!

As we begin our time together, it is important to develop a growth mindset.
By completing each lesson in Khan Academy and having a chance to think about the answers to these questions, you should have time to pause and reflect about your mindset.
Each lesson has three parts - read and complete each part!
Follow along each day on the weekly slideshow and type your answers on the document.
