Lind 3rd and 4th Period SS-2019-2020 Assignments

Read through the information sheet. Go through and answer the questions on the google slides. You do not have to type in your answers because I have already provided them for you. However, you will have a graded assignment later this week in which you will be required to answer questions that are similar. So it is SUPER important that you try to answer them and then check your work.

You will be learning about government in Latin America (Mexico, Cuba, Brazil), Canada, and Australia. You will be reading about one countries government each day and filling in the attached chart for that country. The chapters are attached below and you will have to scroll down to read the correct page numbers for the government section. You will also have two quick checks during this time!! Once the chart is complete, you will have an additional two days to review over the chart.You will then have a test over the different governments. Do NOT turn in the chart if you are not finished with it. You may work ahead if you want to.

Here is what you need to complete each day:
Day 1 Wednesday 4.22.20 - Read Mexico government chapter 13 pages 356-357 and fill in the chart for Mexico.
Day 2 Thursday 4.23.20 - Read Cuba government chapter 14 pages 382-383 and fill in the chart for Cuba.
Day 3 Friday 4.24.20 - Read Brazil government chapter 15 pages 410-411 and fill in the chart for Brazil.
Day 4 Monday 4.27.20 - Quick check over Mexico, Cuba, Brazil government. Read Canada government chapter 10 pages 251-252 and fill in the chart for Canada.
Day 5 Tuesday 4.28.20 - Read Australia government chapter 11 pages 288-290.
Day 6 Wednesday 4/29/20 - Make sure your chart is turned in. Review answers for the chart. Complete quick check over Canada and Australia government.
Day 7 Thursday 4.30.20 - Review chart and be prepared for your government test.
Day 8 Friday 5.1.20 - Test over government.

Economic growth slides are due Friday 4.17.20 (make sure they are turned in by then) and you have a test on Tuesday 4.21.20. Here is what you should complete each day for economic growth.
Day 1 - Tuesday 4.14.20: Review Slides 3-8, watch the attached videos, and answer questions on slide 2.
Day 2 - Wednesday 4.15.20: Review slides 12 - 16, view the attached videos, and answer the questions on slide 10.
Day 3 - Thursday 4.16.20: Review slides 20 - 25, view the attached videos, and answer questions on slide 18.
Day 4 - Friday 4.17.20: Review factors of economic growth and be ready for your test on Tuesday 4.21.20. Make sure the questions on slides 2, 10, and 18 are finished and turn in your slides. They are due TODAY!!
Day 5 - Monday 4.20.20: Review factors of economic growth and be ready for your test tomorrow.

- Begin this assignment on Tuesday, March 24th. You will have until the end of the day Tuesday, March 31st to complete and submit your assignment. You have exempted trade and do not have to take the post test.

The only other assignment for today is to answer the three questions on the attached google form.
I posted an example of what a completed answer should look like in the description of the assignment. The answer is wrong, but follows the correct format.
